A 5 star read
OK, wow. Let me start off by saying that I LOVE mermaids. My whole bathroom is mermaid themed, and I adore them. But, what I truly love is evil mermaids. Yes, the man-eating kind. So when I heard about Village of the Mermaids I knew I had to read it. And again, wow!
It is completely off the walls, hence the genre bizarro fiction. I mean Mellick went all out. It’s weird and fascinating all the same. This was my first dive into the bizarro world, but it won’t be my last. You just have to read it for yourself, I won’t spoil the story.
Was I grossed out at points? Well yes, but that didn’t put me off from the cool and absolutely insane world of Village of the Mermaids.
